Meet Our Credit Counsellors

I’m a credit counsellor with experience working within the subprime/alternative lending industry and I am motivated to provide financial guidance to people to help them get out of debt. I look forward to providing financial advice, coaching, and assistance to clients to ensure they can make excellent financial decisions for the future. Outside of work, I love almost every sport and I enjoy watching or participating whenever I get the chance. I love hiking, running, and watching TV shows and Movies, especially horror movies. During the summertime, you can always find me at the drive-in theatre every weekend.

I am a mother of 3, a serious Netflixer and love the outdoors. Hiking is one of my favourite activities. I am also an experienced Credit Counsellor, who specializes in Debt Consolidation, and budgeting help. I have been working on my personal mission of helping people in managing their money since 2006. I have great success achieving my goals daily because I am passionate about my work, approach every client with the utmost respect, and have a nurturing and calm demeanor.

I am a dynamic, and result-oriented professional with over 8 years of experience in Debt Management and Lending. When I find something that I love, I go all in. This is why I consider myself extremely passionate about helping people lift the heavy weight of debt off their shoulders so they can get back to what matters most. Because life is a gift worth living. When I’m not helping people get back to theirs, you can find me living mine by watching a soccer game, heading to the gym, dancing to salsa music, watching documentaries, and looking into my next vacation spot.

I’m a Credit Counsellor who is enthusiastic about helping people achieve their financial goals and on a personal mission to make a difference by promoting financial awareness for everyone. In my work, I proudly support my clients through an open, non-judgmental and caring approach. I am married and live in Toronto with my wife. During my free time, I love going on long night drives. We enjoy going on road trips, outdoor recreation and having adventures. If we are not on a road trip, it means we are busy planning one!

I've been with the agency since 1999 and I am an accredited Credit Counsellor. I enjoy my work at Credit Canada and am passionate about helping our clients reach their financial goals. I always provide my clients with expert financial advice, as well as their best options when it comes to dealing with whatever financial issues they might be facing. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and always enjoy a good mystery movie.

Josie is AFCC certified.

I have been working with Credit Canada as an accredited Financial Counsellor at our Barrie Location since 2006. I am Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA) certified. My goal is to help my clients find the best solution that will be successful for you and, most importantly, - in your best interest. When I am not in a credit counselling session, I enjoy getting outside in the fresh air to garden, hike, snowshoe, bike and just in general explore the beautiful forests, lakes, and countryside that we are so lucky to have here in Ontario!

I have experience working in both customer service and counselling and have worked in retail, hospitality, telecommunications, and social services. I entered the world of credit counselling/finance to help people get out of debt and get back into life. I work with clients to create budgets and realign their priorities regarding spending to help make their living expenses more realistic. I enjoy spending my free time exploring new areas and having new experiences with my partner and friends. I also love having family nights at home with my daughter and our cat.

Dianna is currently enrolled in an AFCC certification.

I have a strong background in the banking industry and have been working with families for several years to help them create a solid financial plan for their future. Guiding them towards financial stability and freedom has been a fulfilling experience. I am excited to continue this journey with Credit Canada, as it aligns perfectly with my passion for helping people get out of debt and achieve their financial goals. When I'm not working, I love to stay active and enjoy playing volleyball, hiking, and exploring new places through travel. These activities help me stay refreshed and energized, allowing me to bring my best self to my work and personal life.

I have experience working in both Social Services and Credit & Risk. I worked at The Shopping Channel for 14 years mitigating financial loss. I am eager to hit the ground running as a Credit Counselor and help people get out of debt and back into their amazing lives! I am an adrenaline junkie who loves trying new things, from skydiving to swimming with sharks. Family and friends mean the world to me and I love enjoying their company in my free time. I am a single mother to a beautiful 7-year-old daughter who is my motivation for everything! My passion is to help people and I am so excited to be able to achieve this with Credit Canada!

I’m a cat parent and an accredited credit counsellor with 26 years of experience. I entered credit counselling with a mission to help people get out of debt and get back into life. I can help you consolidate your debts and create a livable budget that works for you. I like animals. I like watching Sci-Fi and mysteries on TV, and I love helping people.

Cathy is AFCC certified.

I'm a Credit Counsellor at Credit Canada and I've been offering financial guidance since 1999. I specialize in review counselling for people who have enrolled in our program. My goal is to help each person make their way over the inevitable bumps in the road as they get out of debt. Helping with budgets and working with creditors are some of the ways we assist people in becoming debt-free. I enjoy reading and writing, as well as my daily attempt at solving Wordle.

Hi, I'm an accredited Credit Counsellor at our Barrie office location. I have been with the agency since 2003. I really enjoy building strong relationships with my clients. I'm a very compassionate, friendly, and patient counsellor. I will make sure you feel comfortable with whatever decision you make regarding your finances and debt. I stand up for every one of my clients and will do everything I can to help alleviate any stress you might be facing. I ensure all of my clients have a clear understanding of where they stand and their next best steps to eliminate debt and get back into life. I am a doting mother, grandmother and animal lover. I love doing projects around the house. My most ambitious one was to build a closet in the bedroom from scratch including putting up the drywall, mudding it and painting the room afterwards.

I’m a mother to a beautiful baby boy and 2 amazing dogs Brady and Leia. I have been married for 7 years to my husband. My passion has always been to help people in different aspects of their life. I joined Credit Canada to help people get out of debt and get back into life. I enjoy hiking, interior decorating and taking long road trips.

Nazreen is AFCC certified.

I’m a husband, father, angler, and an experienced Credit Counsellor. I have been in the financial industry most of my working life and have been counselling for the last 4+ years. I especially enjoy being able to draw on all of my different experiences when helping my clients tackle their debt. If I’m not helping clients I can usually be found on a dock somewhere with a fishing line in the water or at home watching hockey.

I am the proud father of 3 wonderful children who has a passion for food. I enjoy cooking but specialize in eating. I am also a humbled & passionate accredited Financial Counsellor who’s had the honour of helping individuals see the light in the depths of financial darkness for over 20 years. I went to school to become a financial planner/investment advisor. In my 3rd year, a credit counsellor from Credit Canada came and spoke to my class about what they did for a living. I was immediately hooked and applied right after finishing school. I’ve never looked back. Some people have jobs that they ‘have to do’ for a living. I ‘get to do’ this job. This is a privilege. I love putting healthy & nutritious food into my body, hanging my laundry outside to dry on a hot summer day and spending time with my family.
