Canadians missing more payments

Credit Canada CEO and Money Columnist Bruce Sellery was on CBC Radio to talk about why a growing number of Canadians are missing payments and how that affects us all.

March 6, 2024 - Have you been struggling to make your payments? You're not alone. According to Equifax's latest report, delinquencies on non-mortgage debt, like credit cards, are up 28.9%. That's a big increase. Given the increase in mortgage rates, it doesn't come as a surprise that people are focusing on paying their mortgage first.
